Selected Global Delegate participants will receive sponsorship toward attending an international congress in Melbourne. The intended event is the 112th World Esperanto Congress, held 3–10 July 2027.

You do not need the perfect résumé. We want to know who you are, what you care about and what you could do with an international opportunity.

Selected participants complete event registration, travel preparation and the appropriate visa process. Visa decisions belong solely to the Australian Government.

Visa & travel

Being selected does not automatically grant the right to enter Australia.

What about the Australian visa?

  • Selected delegates receive relevant Global Delegate program and sponsorship documentation available for their participation.
  • Participants remain responsible for satisfying all Australian immigration requirements.
  • Visa applications are decided exclusively by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
  • Global Delegate cannot guarantee that any visa will be approved.
  • Any help is limited to visa application coordination and administrative support. Where advice is needed, applicants may be referred to an authorized professional.
  • All applicant records and supporting documents must be accurate and genuine.

Is the US$19.99 fee refundable?

Checkout is not available yet. The final refund policy will be published before any payment is requested.

Does paying guarantee selection?

No. Completed applications are evaluated according to the program’s merit criteria.

Is this a lottery?

No. Delegates are not selected randomly.

How many people will be selected?

The program currently intends to offer 20 Fully Funded and 30 Partially Funded positions.

Does selection guarantee an Australian visa?

No. Visa decisions are made solely by the Australian Government.

Is a visa included in the application fee?

No. The fee is only for Global Delegate’s application administration and assessment.

Who can apply?

The program is intended for adults aged 18+. Eligible countries and final eligibility rules will be published before applications open. Applicants need a valid email, truthful identification information and the ability to travel internationally if selected.

Do I need a visa or passport before applying?

You do not need an Australian visa before applying. You should be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport if selected.

What if my visa is refused?

Funding and travel arrangements will be handled under the participant funding agreement. Global Delegate cannot override an immigration decision.

Is Global Delegate part of the Australian Government or the congress?

No. Global Delegate is an independent sponsorship and selection initiative operated by Exprow Consulting Inc.
